Recommended Local Restaurants

All our recommended restaurants provide good value food and most of them are within easy walking distance of the apartment. I will be very pleased to know your opinions and add any you liked.

	Mi Campana Wide range of national dishes including unusually French, get your chocolate crepe here! Try the chicken with sherry sauce. Pleasant garden and great value.Our favourite restaurant Opposite the complex entrance.
	Bona Platja The best beach restaurant, traditional local food, try the special paella. Watch the sun set over the mountains and the odd bat fly along the beach. Open all day. Turn right, 700m turn left past the fountain.
	Bar Danun Quality German food at a very good price, the salmon salad and curry wurst are excellent. Turn right, 500m on the left.
	Parrot They had four at the last count. The closest you will get to eating on the beach. Try the chicken kebabs. Turn right, 500m turn left, opposite Bona Platja.
	Asia Chinese, Set menu B is amazing value. Turn right out of the main entrance, 0.7km at a 'Y' junction with traffic lights.
	Sorrento Interesting starters, I like the beef stuffed with salmon; good take away pizzas. By the side entrance to the complex.
	The sangria comes with nuts and forks. Our favourite evening watering hole. Turn right 700m on the left.
Denia Town
	Great pizzas and excellent value. Park on the sea front when you get to the painted fisherman’s houses under the castle. The last restaurant on the left looking towards the castle..
	La Barqueta Get a table on the roof Terrace. The very best sea food; the Basque style hake and lemon sole are excellent. Can be expensive but the Menu del Dia is tremendous value Near Ticino.
L’Anfora	First restaurant in the harbour market.
	Mesa at La Rotas Stunning views and good food. Drive though Denia past the harbour and follow the Javea signs until you see a left to La Rotas. Drive down the road to the sea, about two kms.
