Aqualandia (Benidorm)
There is a huge and successful and safe water park with 17 large to enormous and complex looking slides plus 10 smaller slides for the little ones and 12 different pools.
Terra Mitica (Benidorm)
Normally open from the beginning of March to the beginning of October. A beautiful park divided into 5 different theme zones, following the Mediterranean environment. Greece, Rome, Egypt, Iberia and the islands. In all these zones are live performances, which belong to the theme but also dizzying Rollercoasters, breathtaking free fall machines, but also enjoyable trips in safe boats over rippling water, more than 30 different, impressive attractions in a beautifully landscaped park.
MundoMar (Benidorm)
A sister park of Aqualandia with 1 double entrance, which separates itself after the ticket offices. You can buy a duo ticket for both parks in one go. You’re then set for your day, as everything will be open from 10 o’clock in the morning till 8 o’clock in the evening.
Mundomar is a zoo with a lot of sea animals and special birds plus all kinds of mammals. Set up as a tropical paradise with a special vegetation, special rockeries, surprising caves and splashing waterfalls. In this special environment there are many live performances of and with parrots, sea lions and a great, literal and figurative, sparkling show of beautiful water nymphs (clean swimming on level) and dolphins, Mundomar is open all year round.
Safari Parks
Between Elche and Santa Pola (CV865). This spacious park is open all year round to admire elephants, tigers, giraffes, monkeys, crocodiles and so on, including a large, diverse bird colony. In summer, the admission ticket gives you free access to the nearby swimming pool.
A less known, but very special animal park, high (1600 meters) on the highest mountain of the Costa Blanca, the Aitana. Near the climbers village of La Sella is this very special park, in which the elephant and the lion, the tiger and the ostrich and much therefore live in a natural harmony with each other and in the wild and that means, for example, that you can only leave the car if the animals are at great (er) distance but I would not do that with the cunning snake and curious buffalo in the neighborhood.
The park is 1500 hectares, and the whole family of animals live there under one another. You will find the young animals in a place that we would call a petting zoo and which can also be visited there freely and reasonably harmlessly by the little ones. The garden is open all year round from 11.00 am and as mentioned before the animals receive their meals at 3 pm, after which they can take them in peace. We can then only view them at a great distance.
